Motcombe Grange: Design & Specification

The 30 apartments are designed to compliment Motcombe Grange, a large country house, sitting in its own grounds in the village of Motcombe. The design and specifications of fixtures and fittings have been determined by consideration of safety and convenience for the residents.

Motcombe Grange: Service Charges and Fees

There are 30 apartments and maisonettes available for lease purchase or rental. In all cases there will be a monthly service charge levied which will include:

  • 24-hour emergency call response
  • Live-in Management
  • Maintenance of the emergency call bell facility
  • Full maintenance of property and grounds
  • Window cleaning service per quarter
  • Electricity and heating to communal areas
  • Owners are responsible for payment of amenities i.e. gas, electric, water and council tax

Use of the amenities at The Grange including croquet, snooker, bar, gym (subject to an initial health check and induction programme). For an additional fee the following services are available:

Mrs Nikki Lewis, Proprietor also owns the Malthouse Residential Care Home and Independent Care Cottages in Bay Road, Gillingham. The Malthouse is a 17th Century building which during its 300 year history has been considerably extended to become a home of great charm and character in spacious gardens. The Malthouse offers 30 ensuite rooms within the main home and 9 independent cottages within its grounds. It is the concept of independent living incorporating facilities and flexibility, which has been the foundation of Motcombe Grange.
